40 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY-Blocksom & Co. Rolled Ridge Vent Limited Warranty

Blocksom & Co. warrants to you, the original owner of its Rolled Ridge Vent (Roof Saver), that Roof Saver is free of manufacturing defects that might allow infiltration of rain and snow or become separated from the roof under normal wear and tear conditions for a period of 40 years. The limited warranty applies only when Roof Saver is installed in conformance with the installation instructions provided and in conjunction with the installation of new shingles.

This warranty does not cover damage of any kind which is the result of improper use, improper installation, acts of God such as fire, flood, tornado, earthquake, hailstorms, windstorms or other unusually strong storms nor any other cause beyond the control of Blocksom & Co. including settlement or movement of the building walls, foundation or roof deck or damage caused by any impact of foreign debris. Blocksom & Co. will not be liable for defects in materials or failure due to materials used in conjunction with the Roof Saver application. Blocksom & Co. will not be liable for consequential damage including damage to the interior or exterior of any building or to any property contained in the building upon which Roof Saver is applied. Blocksom & Co. will not be responsible for labor costs incurred in connection with the replacement or removal of your Ridge Vent.

Blocksom & Co.'s warranty is expressly limited to the owner of a residence at the time the Roof Saver is installed or the initial owner of a newly constructed residence. This warranty is nontransferable.

Claims under this warranty must be made in writing to Blocksom & Co. within the applicable warranty period and within thirty (30) days after the discovery of the alleged defect. Claims must show proof of purchase and the installer's name and address. Claims should be addressed to Blocksom & Co., Attention: Technical Product Support, 450 St. John Rd. Suite 710, Michigan City, IN 46360. Notice to your contractor or your dealer is not considered proper notification. Blocksom & Co. shall have a reasonable period of time to inspect Roof Saver, evaluate your claim and resolve it in accordance with the terms of this warranty. If Roof Saver contains a defect covered by the warranty, Blocksom & Co., at its sole discretion, will either repair the Ridge Vent, replace the Ridge Vent or refund the full original purchase price. In no event shall Blocksom & Co. be obligated to pay for the cost of labor for such repair or maintenance.

Blocksom & Co. makes no express warranties except as set forth herein. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply.

This warranty shall not apply to Roof Saver Ridge Vent sold outside the United States or Canada. This warranty gives you specific rights. You may have other rights, which vary, from state to state.
